With over 15 years of experience as a community-based practitioner and researcher, Kisha McPherson brings a deep commitment to research informed equity, inclusion, and sustainability . Holding a PhD in Education, her work is grounded in intersectional and anti-colonial approaches that centre universal design and inclusive learning practices. Kisha leads with curiosity, care, and a passion for co-creating meaningful change across educational and community settings.

Cindy Mahendar
Cindy Mahendar is a trained restorative justice circlekeeper with a M.S. in Conflict Resolution Studies. She works with organizations to prevent, respond to and address conflict and harm by utilizing restorative practices. Cindy has a decade of experience in social justice work from organizing to training and program development. Most recently, Cindy worked as the Training and Operations Manager for the Healing and Justice Center in Miami. Cindy holds a value of healing-centered work to support programs and organizations working towards social transformation.

Joshua Gebeyehu
Joshua Zewdie brings over five years of experience in data analytics, specializing in quantitative review with a Bachelor's of Commerce in Business Technology Management from Toronto Metropolitan University and a postgraduate diploma in Cybersecurity from Durham College. Joshua has experience in shareholder advisory, proxy solicitation and non-profit resource mobilization.

With a strong foundation in research and analysis, they specialize in developing culturally responsive and socially impactful media projects. Their academic and creative practice is rooted in exploring the intersections of visual storytelling, pedagogy, and equity in education.

Development Practitioner & Lead Researcher
Chanelle Perrier-Telemaque
Chanelle Perrier-Telemaque is a development practitioner with over 12 years of experience working locally and internationally to support youth mentorship in underserved communities. She has held various roles in the NGO and public sectors, including Project Coordinator and Senior Manager of International Programming. Currently a doctoral student in Critical Disability Studies at York University, Chanelle’s research explores Blackness, disability, and embodiment, with a focus on the lived experiences of second-generation African-Caribbean women who support disabled siblings.

Ronaye’s commitment to equity and social change is reflected in her ongoing research interests, which centre on community empowerment, anti-oppressive frameworks, and systemic advocacy.
